High Tide, 24″x30″ SOLD

Description

This piece is 24″x30″, acrylic and gold leaf on canvas. This piece comes framed in a gold leaf floater frame and is wired, ready to be hung. The dimensions of the framed piece are 25 ½ x 31 ½.

This piece is one of several pieces from my collection called The Divide. The whole series is a celebration of life and death. I have lost four family members and my good friend and college roommate within the last two years. Each piece in this collection is made in memorial to my lost loved ones. The title of each piece correlates to a particular speech pattern or memory associated with each person. This piece was and several other in this series were inspired by my beautiful cousin who disappeared while swimming off of the coast of Hawaii. We never found her remains.
