✨Coaching/mentorship update!✨ My time and your m ✨Coaching/mentorship update!✨ My time and your money is precious. This new year I’ve decided to switch up my coaching offerings by partnering with @mastrius.official to offer mentorship groups. I will still be offering one-on-on coaching but due to high demand and (highly demanding children: see slide 2) I will be offering fewer one-on-one coaching sessions and more mentorship groups. Here’s the upside for the artists who follow me. My first mentorship group at Mastrius starts March 6. It’s a lower price point than 1-on-1 coaching and in a fun group setting. If the group thing isn’t for you, don’t worry I’m still offering one on one sessions however due to time constraints and high demand I’ve had to increase the price point. Conceptualizing a couple of new series while I wor Conceptualizing a couple of new series while I work on this commission. Commissions are great space for dreaming and thinking about other work. This painting commission is varnished and drying getting ready for shipment next week. She will be shipped rolled. I will be thanks to have this custom 68”x94“ off to its new home. 🙏🫶 Stay sweet 💖✌️
It’s 2016. I’m 22 years old and married for 6 mont It’s 2016. I’m 22 years old and married for 6 months. I’ve been painting for 20 years but decided to try and become a professional artist last year in 2015. I’m working full time as a web and graphic designer at a boutique firm and painting at nights and on weekends. I live in Arlington,VA and I’ve taken over my husband and my 1 bedroom apartment living room with my painting. This is the year I decided on my vertical “CEO” signature and the year I painted my first painting over 6’ tall. I spoke on creative panels and connected with many other artists in D.C. This was also the year a dabbled in wedding and event backdrop paintings and the first year I licensed a painting to @westelm In 2016 I visited museums and met artists in Atlanta, LA, Miami, and San Francisco and of course D.C. I bought my first home and made one of the bedrooms into my dedicated studio space. It was the year I got my first big commissions from collectors that believed in me and still support me to this day. I’ve loved seeing others 2016 posts. How far we’ve all come and how thankful I am for the journey. #2016

Visit the blog at the link in my profile to see all the books. I did not rank the hundreds of children’s books I read to my children, but perhaps I’ll add them to the rankings next year. In case you’re wondering - Goodnight Moon, Madeline, and Fox in Socks have all been committed to memory and rank quite high for me. ANYWAY! Ranked from 5 stars to 1 star. You know the drill. 5 stars are a must read. 4 stars is good and recommended. 3 stars is overall enjoyable. 2 stars is okay. 1 star is not worth your time.
